Overview

The Cold Therapy Chiller (DIY Install) is a high-performance, plug-and-play cooling system designed for users who already own a cold plunge tub or are building a custom setup. Powered by Penguin Chillers’ proven cold therapy technology, this unit delivers consistent low-temperature performance without the need for ice.

This product is intended for DIY installations and pairs seamlessly with compatible tubs, barrels, or insulated plunge systems.

• Estimated lead times vary by model and season.
  Most cold therapy chillers ship within 2–10 business days after order confirmation.
• Shipping method (parcel or freight) depends on the model purchased. Larger units ship via freight.
• Delivery is curbside only. Liftgate service and delivery appointments are available upon request. Inside delivery is not provided.
• For Canadian customers, shipping costs, freight method, and customs requirements are confirmed after checkout prior to order fulfillment.

Compatibility 

This package is designed to work with barrel-style cold plunge tubs, including Ice Barrel™ models.
The barrel itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

Outdoor Use

The chiller may be used outdoors in non-freezing conditions. If ambient temperatures reach freezing or below, the chiller must be disconnected and fully drained to prevent damage.

Installation & Maintenance

This chiller is not self-priming. The chiller must be positioned below the water level of the tub. Excessively long tubing runs may reduce pump efficiency. Strong water flow is essential for proper operation. Improper setup, restricted flow, or inadequate maintenance may result in damage and is not covered under warranty. Routine filter cleaning and water maintenance are required for optimal performance. Avoid using external timers. Continuous cold water circulation helps control bacterial growth and reduces long-term maintenance.

Warranty

• Includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Optional 2-year and 3-year extended warranties are available. Warranty coverage requires proper setup and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. 
• For Canadian customers, any shipping costs associated with warranty repairs (to and from the manufacturer) are the responsibility of the customer.
• Warranty claims must be submitted directly to Penguin Chillers.

Penguin Chillers products ship from the United States.

For Canadian orders, shipping costs are quoted after checkout and must be approved prior to fulfillment.

Canadian customers are responsible for:

• Customs brokerage
• Duties and taxes
• Clearance and import fees

Returns & Cancellations

• Returns must be requested within 21 days of shipment and require prior approval.
• All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Custom orders and special configurations are non-returnable.
• Orders canceled prior to shipment may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
